Social Events
We have a social side, we are not just here to train, but to enjoy riding and socialising with other riders. We organise social events around the area, including social ride outs on the first Saturday of the month and the annual dinner and presentation in November each year to round off the season. We have members who have, and continue to arrange holiday tours of Ireland, Scotland, France, Norway, Germany and Austria to name some of the exotic locations.
This is just what the club organises, some members organise and invite club members to other events and social runs.
Here are just some of the events on offer:
Social Ride Outs are on the first Sunday of each month. These usually depart around 9.30am with an estimated return of 4pm - 6pm. We operate the drop-off system and all members are welcome to join us. Please feel free to bring a pillion if you wish.
If anyone has a good idea for a destination or wishes to organise and lead a Social Ride Out, please contact the Group Secretary or catch him on a Saturday at Squires.

York Slightly Alcoholic Motorcyclists
The monthly meet is the 2nd Saturday of each month, this time in the Spread Eagle, York's Only Biker Pub, from about 7:30pm onwards. It has a large car park at the rear.
