Social Events

We have a social side, we are not just here to train, but to enjoy riding and socialising with other riders.  We organise social events around the area, off road training, track days, brewery tours etc and the annual dinner and presentation in November each year to round off the season.  We have members who have, and continue to arrange holiday tours of Ireland, Scotland, France, Norway, Germany and Austria to name some of the exotic locations. 

This is just what the club organises, some members organise and invite club members to other events and social runs.

Rider of the Year 2008

This years Rider of the Year competition took place on Saturday 4th October and the results are as follows:

Rider of the Year – Craig Sowden
Runner Up – Nigel Wirtz
Best Ride – Steve Hookham
Best Manoeuvres – Craig Sowden
Best Paper – Steve Raper
 

Associate of the Year – Steve Raper
Runner Up – Keith Geldart

The results from 2007 were:

Rider of the Year – Jon Browne
Runner Up – Simon Edwards
Best Ride – Jon Browne
Best Manoeuvres – Jon Browne
Best Paper – Hag Taylor
 

Associate of the Year – Jez Smith

Annual Dinner and Prize Giving 2008

This years Annual Dinner and Prize Giving will take place on Saturday 22nd November 2008 at the Elmbank Hotel, York.  Further details can be on the prizegiving page.

A group of members have arranged for a minibus from Leeds Station and there are a few seats still available.  If anyone is interested, please contact Meg Davies via meld@pfmuk.com or phone 07850 963680.
